What are re-enactments? It's an event where people dress in costume to re-enact some historic event or storied era in history. If a bunch of people get dressed up in 1890s cowboy outfits and strut down to a horse lot marked "O.K. Corral," they're "re-enactors" - and you can bet there's going to be a bloody shoot-out pretty soon. If they get dressed up as pirates, they... well, you get the idea.
